Who we are
Gooten Innolife Corporation (unified business number 89569694) is a Taiwan-registered company located at No. 12-1, Lane 267, Section 3, Minsheng Road, Daya District, Taichung 428, Taiwan. We operate this website to present our OEM/ODM manufacturing services and to receive business inquiries. For any privacy matter, contact us by phone at +886-4-2568-5607, by post at the address above, or through the inquiry form on this site. For the purposes of the GDPR, Gooten Innolife Corporation is the data controller for the information described in this policy. We have not appointed an EU representative; if that is a requirement for your organisation, please raise it with us.
Legal basis for processing
Your inquiry. When you submit the form, we process your name, email and project description to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to pursue our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries. Both are recognised bases under Article 6 of the GDPR; the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act reaches the same result through the business relationship you initiated.
Abuse prevention and analytics. Rate limiting, spam filtering and aggregated site analytics rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable and understanding which pages are useful. We have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, so this data is not used for advertising. If you would rather not be counted, most browsers can block analytics scripts, and you can ask us to delete anything already associated with you.
This section describes how we understand the rules as they apply to this site. It is not legal advice.
What we collect
Inquiry form. When you submit a request for quotation, we collect your name, email address, and the project description you choose to share. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to conduct the business conversation you requested. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the project description; the form is intended for business matters.
Abuse prevention. To protect the inquiry form from automated abuse, our infrastructure briefly processes your IP address for rate limiting. These records expire automatically within hours and are not used to identify you.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate region, language). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes pseudonymous identifiers and IP addresses on our behalf. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run ad tracking on this site.
Functional cookie. If you choose a language, a small cookie (lang_pref) remembers that choice. It contains only the language code.
Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, requested page) for security and performance purposes.
Where your information goes
Inquiry submissions are stored in a cloud-based CRM tool used by our sales and engineering team. Site delivery and security are provided by Cloudflare, and analytics by Google. New inquiries are also delivered to our sales inbox through an email delivery provider. These providers process data on infrastructure that may be located outside Taiwan, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond these service providers and our own team.
International data transfers
Our company is in Taiwan, and the service providers described above operate infrastructure in several countries including the United States. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, your information therefore leaves the EEA.
Taiwan has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission, so a transfer here does not rely on one. Where we send data through the providers named above, those providers make Standard Contractual Clauses available as their transfer mechanism. For information you send us directly through the inquiry form, the transfer is necessary to take the pre-contractual steps you asked for, which Article 49(1)(b) of the GDPR addresses.
You can ask us at any time what we hold and have it deleted, using the contact details in the first section. This description is our reading of the rules and not legal advice; if transfer mechanics matter to your organisation, please raise it with us before sending anything sensitive.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as they are relevant to an actual or potential business relationship. You may ask us to delete your inquiry data at any time using the contact details above, and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you may ask us to: review or obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you; correct or supplement it; stop processing it; or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us by phone, post, or the inquiry form. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in the EEA and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Other things you should know
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. If we update this policy, we will change the effective date on this page; material changes will be noted here. Non-disclosure agreements signed with clients are separate from, and take precedence over, this policy for the information they cover.
